1. Service Definition and Purpose

ModaReal.Club ("the Company") is an experience-based community platform where users share real experiences and regrets across everyday life, culture, and social activities.

Under the motto "Someone already made that mistake.", ModaReal helps others make better decisions by learning from the real experiences of the community.

2. Account and Authentication

ModaReal uses Google OAuth for user authentication. By signing in, you authorize us to access your Google profile information (name, email address, and profile image), which is managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. Accounts found to violate this requirement may be terminated immediately.

3. Service Model and Future Paid Plans

The Service is currently offered as a free pilot. All features are available to registered users at no cost.

The Company may introduce paid features or subscription services in the future. Users will be notified at least 14 days in advance through the platform or email before any paid services take effect.

4. User Content

Users retain ownership of all content they post on ModaReal, including stories, comments, votes, and reactions.

By posting content, users grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the Service. This license terminates upon account deletion, and content will be removed within a reasonable period following a deletion request.

The Company reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or Community Guidelines without prior notice.

5. Community Guidelines

Users must post honest content based on their own real experiences. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, hate speech, or threats
• Misleading or false information
• Spam or self-promotion
• Content that violates the rights of others
• Illegal material

For detailed community rules, please refer to the Community Guidelines page. Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, or termination without prior notice.

6. Account Termination

By User:

Users may request account deletion and data removal at any time by contacting support@modareal.club.

By the Company:

The Company may restrict or terminate accounts without prior notice in cases of repeated guideline violations, fraudulent activity, false information, or illegal conduct.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform assets — including design, UI, branding, and code — are the property of the Company. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of user-generated content. Content on the platform is for reference purposes only, and the Company is not liable for any decisions made based on such content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

The Company is also exempt from liability for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters and scheduled maintenance.

9. Changes to Terms

The Company may update these Terms as necessary. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days in advance through the platform or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt resolution through negotiation via support@modareal.club. If no resolution is reached, the courts of the Republic of Korea shall have jurisdiction.

Users residing outside of Korea may utilize Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) procedures as an alternative.
